The main categories of new weapons added to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 include Makeshift, Mechanical, and Primal.

Weapons can be improved in Fortnite through crafting, either by collecting Mechanical Parts in order to craft Mechanical weapons or by collecting things like Animal Bones in order to craft Primal weapons.

Outside of these new weapons, there are standard weapons that make a return in Fortnite though you’ll find less of them than these new Makeshift, Mechanical, and Primal weapons.

To quickly review everything, we’ve listed all of the new weapons added to Fortnite Chapter 2 below.

  • Makeshift Bow
  • Mechanical Bow
  • Mechanical Explosive Bow
  • Mechanical Shockwave Bow
  • Makeshift Rifle
  • Makeshift Shotgun
  • Makeshift Submachine Gun
  • Revolver
  • Primal Flame Bow
  • Primal Stink Bow
  • Primal Pistol
  • Primal Rifle
  • Primal Shotgun
  • Primal SMG
  • Pump Shotgun

Where there are new additions, there are also departures. If you’re wondering what items have been taken out to make room for the new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, we’ve got you covered with a quick list below of all vaulted weapons and items.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 – All Vaulted Items

  • Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
  • Charge Shotgun
  • Common Assault Rifle
  • Dragon’s Breath Shotgun
  • Heavy Assault Rifle
  • Lever Action Rifle
  • Lever Action Shotgun
  • Pistol
  • Suppressed SMG
  • Tactical Shotgun
  • Thermal Fish
  • Zero Point Fish

Replacing vaulted items like the Thermal Fish and Zero Point Fish are new fish like the Hop Flopper, Cuddle Fish, and Stink Flopper. We highly recommend grabbing a fishing rod and trying to catch one of these new fish as they’re a ton of fun, especially the Hop Flopper which activates low gravity!

All in all, the new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 are fairly straightforward with categories including Makeshift, Mechanical, and Primal and the ability to craft in order to improve weapons using resources like Animal Bones and Mechanical Parts.

Try out each weapon and do some crafting to find the weapon that works best for you. And other than that, we wish you the best of luck in earning that sweet Victory Royale in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6!
