Players now can catch a wide variety of items from the bodies of water that now can be found around the map of the game. Those who are lucky enough can also get their hands on the Mythic Goldfish item, which can help them in their quest to collect a Victory Royale.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Mythic Goldfish

There are a total of six things players can catch when they are fishing in the battle royale game. These items include materials, weapons, Slurpfish, Flopper, Small Fry, and the Mythic Goldfish. The Slurpfish, Flopper, and Small Fry can be used by players to heal themselves. However, the Mythic Goldfish can be used by those who can catch it in Fortnite Chapter 2 to deal massive amounts of damage to enemies by throwing it at them. Unfortunately, this particular item is scarce and not that many members of the community for the title have been able to acquire one in a match. 

We do know that it is possible to secure this rare fishing item thanks to a Reddit post by community member OldManHerman that showed off an image of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Mythic Goldfish. This means that you can catch this item, but it will take you a decent amount of fishing at the various bodies of water on the game’s map to do so.
