It seems like there is always a new content update for Fortnite Battle Royale whenever you look, and Tuesday, August 6th is no different. Epic Games recently released the v10.00 content update, and it brought a few significant changes to the world of Fortnite. One of these significant changes was the addition of the new Automatic Sniper Rifle. This new weapon is the first of its kind for its specific class, as the Fortnite Automatic Sniper Rifle combines the longe range capabilities of a Sniper Rifle with a high fire rate when compared to its predecessors. 

You can find all of the stats for the newly added weapon below:

  • Available in Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants.
  • Uses Medium Ammo.
  • Projectiles travel faster than other Sniper Rifles.
  • Damage: 31/33/35
    • Headshot: 62/66/70
  • 4 Rounds per second.
  • 16 Rounds per magazine.

This new Fortnite Automatic weapon uses a reduced range scope to help players utilize this item in close-range situations with its high rate of fire. 

Players can find this particular weapon from floor loot, chests, vending machines, supply drops, and loot carriers. 

While this Fortnite Automatic Rifle may not offer the powerful punch at long ranges, it does allow for the most utility in various combat situations when compared to other rifles in the same weapon class and could prove to be a valuable weapon in a player’s inventory.
