FFXIV: Where to Get Burning Horns in 6.3

Not safe to keep inside pockets.

Final Fantasy XIV is full of rare items to collect for various reasons, and the recent patch 6.3 content update just introduced a handful of new ones into the mix. While some may be valuable materials for crafting, others can be used to exchange with NPCs for exciting rewards. One of the newer items introduced in the recent patch are Burning Horns, and collecting them will require patience, dedication, and a lot of luck. Here’s where to get Burning Horns in Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.3.

Burning Horns can only be obtained through the brand new Shifting Gymnasion Agonon treasure dungeons. These level 90 dungeons can be accessed through Timeworn Ophiotauroskin Maps, which can only be gathered once everyone 18 hours (Earth Time) by level 90 Disciples of the Land.

Upon deciphering and uncovering the treasure coffers from the Ophiotauroskin Maps, a portal to the Shifting Gymnasion Agonon dungeon may or may not spawn. If it does, your party will be transported to the dungeon after interacting with it.

Inside the dungeon, your party will go through a series of spinning a roulette wheel, fighting groups of monsters and bosses, and opening treasure coffers once successful. These coffers have a pool of items that could potentially drop, and Burning Horns are one of the rarest possible rewards. Additionally, the Burning Horns tend to only drop from the later stages of the treasure dungeon, making them even more difficult to obtain.

If you’re lucky enough to win a Burning Horn, you can choose to sell it on your world’s Market Board for a hefty sum, or you can try your luck at obtaining two more. If you’re able to collect a total of 3 Burning Horns, you can trade them over to Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han for the Phaethon mount.
