The event will be running from Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. until the release of patch 6.5, scheduled for early October. Players will have some good weeks for completing the special event quests, as well as enjoying a new, thematic scenery around the main cities to celebrate the first ten years of this critically acclaimed MMORPG.

You can find the main event quest (Sibilings Rising) on Ul’dah – Steps of Nald at (X:10.1, Y:87) with Kipih Jakkya next to the Itinerant Moogle NPC. Speak with her and start following the commemorative quests which end up with a one-on-one talk with the game’s director himself, Naoki Yoshida. Or at least an NPC with his exact name and appearance.

The main reward for completing this quest is the Rising Pheonix mount, based on the original ARR Pheonix. After being present as a boss in the game for almost 10 years, the original classic FF summon is finally available as a mount. Not a rebrand or a proto-version this time! And completely for free, on top of that.

Other items, such as exclusive Orchestrion Rolls and some furnishes, will also be distributed during the period, so don’t miss it. And there’s also a sale currently going on in the Online Store, with various items going for discounted prices for a limited time. And, of course, a few new items are also here, such as the Magitek Attire.
