FFXIV: How to Get the Magicked Children’s Bed

Flying beds are not new to FFXIV. We had a few of these in the past, but we can never get enough magical furniture that serves as a ride for humans, cat-humans, bunny-humans and Lalafells alike. This one right here is special, though. It comes with its own stuffed animals in it. Where else can you find a fine bed like that?!

In quite a few different places, to be honest. This 6.4 patch-introduced mount has plenty of ways of being obtained, but none of them are particularly easy. Gotta work hard to sleep well, I guess.

How to Obtain the Magicked Children’s Bed Mount in FFXIV

The Magicked Children’s Bed can be bought for 600 Faux Leaves from the Faux Commander at Idyllshire (X:5.7, Y: 6.1). Faux Leaves can be obtained by completing the Unreal difficulty Trials and returning to the Commander to play its Faux Hallows minigame. 

You usually get from 35 to 50 Leaves by finding the usual items, but finding the rare Fox gives you 100 extra Leaves instantly. 

Alternatively, you can also get it from Khloe, who’s standing right beside the Commander at (X: 5.7, Y: 6.0) in exchange for a Gold Certificate of Commendation. These certificates can be claimed as rewards when completing your Wondrous Tails diary with a perfect 3-line score. 

And if you’ve been playing the game for a while, you know exactly how hard both of these can be. Unreal Trials are harder endgame challenges that get easier as you learn them but are yet another weekly (and lengthy) farm before reaching 600 Leaves. 

So what about Wondrous Tails? Well, I know people who have played the game for years and have never got three lines in their whole lives. I only got it once, and I don’t think I’ll get it again so soon. So yeah, don’t expect that to happen that often.

Buying Magicked Children’s Bed From Other Players

The “easiest” alternative is to buy the Bed directly from someone else in the Market Board. But since this is a difficult item to get, don’t expect it to be cheap. Try server hopping a little bit to find the best offer if you’re really decided on getting that bed for your perfect beauty sleep.

Prices tend to go even higher whenever a harder Unreal trial is up too, so if you’re not desperate to get it, it might be a good choice to wait for a less punishing trial to appear in the Patch rotation.
