FFXIV has a fair share of unique, funny, and exotic dance emotes, and more of those are being added by the day. Among them, we can find the Lop Hop, introduced during the 6.55 Patch update, which serves as the reward for dedicated players.
How to Unlock the Lop Hop Emote in FFXIV
The Lop Hop emote is obtained by completing the Endwalker Tribal Alliance quests, starting in Dinner and a Show and ending in A Dream Worth Chasing. You need to complete all of the Endwalker Tribe Quests before you can start this one, so it can take a while if you haven’t even started them just yet.
You have to reach Level 8 Reputation (Bloodsworn) with the Arkasodaras, the Omicrons, and the Loporrits to truly complete them. They’re meant respectively for Disciples of War/Magic, Disciples of Land, and Disciples of Hand, so you’ll need at least one of each at Level 80 before unlocking them.
Once you do, head to Ultima Thule and speak with Jammingway at (X:27.5 Y:24.5) and start his new quest. Once you complete this small questline, the Ballroom Etiquette – Lop Hop item will be obtained, so use it immediately to get this Loporrit-inspired dance to your emote bar ASAP.
Special emotes have been the traditional reward for completing all Tribal quests since Heavensward, but we didn’t get an Allied Tribes Quest back in Shadowbringers due to a tight schedule on content production. It’s good to see this return to the original form in this expansion, which paves a good path for Dawntrail to keep following the tradition.
This is one of the final rewards added to Endwalker as the expansion draws to its conclusion. Dawntrail will be released during the Summer of 2024, and we already had a good glimpse of some of its new attractions such as its jobs, Raids, areas, and a lot more.
