FBC: Firebreak, the cooperative shooter from Remedy Entertainment, is almost here. The title uses the backdrop of the Federal Bureau of Control, which dials the crazy elements of Control to an 11. It’s coming to PC and consoles very soon, and if you’re interested in when, I have you covered.

Is FBC Firebreak Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Yes, FBC: Firebreak is launching day one on PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate.

Is FBC Firebreak Coming to PlayStation Plus?

Yes, FBC: Firebreak is launching day one on the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

The game is not available for pre-order on any platform, but you can read more about its pricing and the deluxe edition here. Compared to previous graphical juggernauts from Remedy Entertainment like Alan Wake 2, FBC: Firebreak is not that demanding, so make sure to check out the system requirements if that’s a concern.

Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that they’ll be adding more jobs throughout 2025, and you can expect continued support in the form of new free content as well. This is not a traditional live-service game, however, so don’t go in expecting lootboxes and battle passes. It’s a much more traditional cooperative shooter, akin to Left 4 Dead 2.

Ali has been writing about video games for the past six years and is always on the lookout for the next indie game to obsess over and recommend to everyone in sight. When he isn't spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he's probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
