When you come across the “repair emitter plates” objective, it’s easy to get confused about how to repair them. The task looks simple, but when you go for the higher levels, there are some slight tweaks. Here’s how to repair those emitter plates in FBC: Firebreak.

How to Fix Emitter Plates in FBC Firebreak

You’ll encounter the ” repair the emitter plates” objective in several different stages. Still, the most common one is in Frequency Shift, since the first objective is clearing the Exo on the turbines and then repairing the emitter plates.

To repair these emitter plates, you can go up to the gamma emitter and interact with it. You’ll go through the same minigame where you spam two buttons to progress. It takes a while to finish, but if you don’t have a Fix Kit class or player, you are forced to fix the gamma emitter through this method.

If you have a Fix Kit class, they could bring out their Wrench and just smack every emitter plate around the gamma emitter. Each plate needs around two hits to repair. It is way faster to do it this way, which is why you want one of every class on your team.

If you already know these basic methods and still can’t fix the emitter plates, you might be missing some emitter plates in the first place. The game doesn’t immediately tell you this, but some emitter plates are scattered around the area.

You’ll have to find them, pick them up, and place them in the gamma emitter. They are easy to spot, and there are more than enough emitter plates scattered around the area than you need, so keep that in mind.

Once you have found and placed the emitter plates, you must smack them with a wrench or repair them.

If you struggle to find those emitter plates, they are usually on the floor and close to the gamma emitter area.
