KOEI TECMO is not done with the Fatal Frame franchise just yet, and they are now bringing the most iconic entry in the series to modern consoles with a full remake of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.

Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly Remake Release Date
The game is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch on March 12, 2026.
Based on all the footage shown so far, Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly Remake looks very faithful to the original, and I hope that it reflects continued interest in the franchise from KOEI TECMO.
