Everything You Need To Know About Pokemon Go Kanto-themed Raid Day

Pokemon Go Kanto Raid Day will begin on Sunday, February 28, 2021, starting at 11 am through 2 pm local time.

During these hours you’ll be able to find Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos in Five-Star Raids and if you’re lucky you might even be able to find a shiny version of these legendary birds. 

Team Rocket Boss Giovanni will be returning with some new Shadow Legendary Pokemon. Check out the special research coming your way to catch some new Shadow Pokemon to add to your collection.

In a time where going out and participating in Raids can be tough, Niantic is giving players a free bundle of three remote raid passes in the shop starting the day before on February 27 through March 1. So be sure to grab those!

You’ll also be able to earn five more free raid passes by spinning Photo Discs at Pokestops or Gyms during the event.

Team Go Rocket Grunts will also appear more frequently around POkestops throughout the event.
