What is in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass?
The Expansion Pass will give owners access to all DLC packages as they become available in planned waves. See details below about each DLC Wave and the planned content that each pack will bring:
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC Wave 1
The first DLC pack will come with the following content:
- Free collection of helpful items
- New color variations for existing outfits
DLC Wave 1 release date is July 29, 2022.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC Wave 2
The second wave of DLC will add the following:
- New Challenge Battle mode that pits you against difficult enemies
- A brand new hero character with accompanying quests
- New outfits for characters
DLC Wave 2 will be released by December 31, 2022.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC Wave 3
The third wave of DLC contains the following:
- New Challenge Battle mode that pits you against difficult enemies
- A brand new hero character with accompanying quests
- New outfits for characters
DLC Wave 3 will be released by April 30, 2023.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC Wave 4
The final wave of DLC will bring:
- A brand new original story scenario
DLC Wave 4 will be released by December 31, 2023.
Nintendo has promised to reveal additional details about each DLC wave after Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s launch on July 29, 2022, only on Nintendo Switch.
