Forza Horizon games have been absolute champions of the arcade open-world genre for many years. Playground Games have accustomed us to the fact that each sequel always comes with two large expansions. Forza Horizon 5 just got its first major DLC, the Hot Wheels expansion. This is not the first time we had this crossover but the next-gen Forza Horizon 5 really turned up the Hot Wheels experience to another level. Everything New in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels
The Hot Wheels expansion in Forza Horizon 5 brings a brand new map named “Hot Wheels Park” consisting of three different biomes connected by the well-known orange and blue plastic tracks. In order to get to the new content, if you are a new player, you need to go through the initial introduction to Forza Horizon 5, while returning players who got the expansion via the Premium Edition or Expansions Bundle will be able to access it immediately via the map.
The expansion brings a brand new Horizon story in five additional chapters, where your goal is to become the Hot Wheels, legendary driver, while you come through the challenges of Hot Wheels Academy. The new campaign mode can be played solo or as a co-op with friends.

- 2013 Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker
- 2012 Hot Wheels Bad to the Blade
- 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro
In addition to new cars and a brand new Hot Wheels Park map, the expansion brings a new creative mode where you can design custom tracks using the classic Hot Wheels track parts.

Hot Wheels expansion is available now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but unlike the Forza Horizon 5 main game, it is not included in Game Pass – it needs to be purchased separately if you don’t have Premium Edition or Expansions Bundle.
