EA FC 24 Beginner Guide: How to Get Started With TOTS Promo

Best time to play the game

The TOTS Promo is easily the best time to play EA FC 24 if you’re an Ultimate Team fan. This is not only going to be the longest promo in terms of duration, but the cards being introduced are also better than the previous releases. It’s also the easiest time of the year to build a proper squad with some effort.

When Does the EA FC 24 TOTS Promo Begin?

The celebrations start on April 19 with the release of the TOTS Live cards. This will be the first year when live cards are being introduced in the TOTS promo. The live cards will then be followed by league-specific TOTS items, featuring all major leagues. It’s safe to expect that the TOTS promo could go on until the end of May, or might even include the first week of June as well.

How to Make the Most of EA FC 24 TOTS Promo

If you already have an established Ultimate Team squad, it will be easier to take advantage of the upcoming events. However, there’s still time for you to make the most of the EA FC 24 TOTS promo if you’re a beginner.

  • Unlock the weekly rewards: All game modes have weekly rewards, so make sure to hit all targets. If you’re a beginner, make sure to try to complete Squad Battles and get as many wins as possible. Squad Battles might not be exciting, but they’re a safe way of grinding for more rewards.
  • Gain ranks in Division Rivals: Division Rivals is quite challenging especially if you’re a beginner. However, you can get to Division 5-6 with a bit of effort and learning. EA Sports has recently buffed the weekly rewards for this game mode, so make sure to put in some effort.
  • Play Champs: While you might not make it to the Champs finals as a beginner, the playoffs are a bonus way of getting weekly packs. Even qualifying for the Champs finals can be extremely rewarding as a beginner (6 wins out of 20 matches can fetch you some really amazing items).
  • Complete objectives: As of writing, you can get 5 Base Heroes by simply playing and winning a certain number of matches. These cards might be below the current power curve, but they’re perfect for beginners. You can complete the objectives in Squad Battles if you’re still learning the basics.
  • Complete the Daily SBCs: As a beginner, you need to get as many packs as possible. The Daily SBC requires only a Bronze item and rewards you with 2 81+ Rare Gold Players. If you open these packs during TOTS, you could also get a promo item.
  • Save the packs: This might seem counterproductive but you can’t always manage to get TOTS items in every pack you open. It’s better to save the bulk of your packs for the league-specific TOTS of your choice.

That’s all you need to do as a beginner to make the most out of the EA FC 24 TOTS promo, which will last for a few weeks, at least. Hence, you can keep playing as much as you can to increase your chances of packing a TOTS item. Moreover, additional cards will also be made available via SBCs and objectives.
