We finally got our first extensive look at the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake during today’s incredible Nintendo Direct. This remake is coming to multiple consoles as well as PC. The developers have shared the target resolution, framerate, and preset as well. This isn’t a demanding game at all, and if you want to play at the highest settings at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you only need a GTX 1060 paired with a Ryzen 3 1200.

These are fairly old components now, and most PC users should easily enjoy the remake at framerate.

Apart from that, you need 20 GB of free space to install Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, and 8 GB of RAM is recommended.

Overall, it seems like we’re in for another excellent remake from Square Enix. The blend of 3D, and pixel art continues to be one of the best parts of the Dragon Quest series. We’re very happy that the remake will be available on all major platforms, including PC.
