Dragon Ball Legends is the latest in a long line of Dragon Ball fighting games. As a mobile title, there are some things you can and can’t do when compared to a console or PC game. One thing a lot of people have been curious about is how to block in Dragon Ball Legends. People have seen blocking happen in Dragon Ball Legends, so it has to be there, but few people have been able to figure out how to block. There’s a good reason for that, and you may not like it, so let’s jump right into how to block in Dragon Ball Legends.
How to Block
Unfortunately, blocking in Dragon Ball Legends is a random occurrence. Your character will auto-block at random, with the player having no control over when this happens or how often this happens. You can see in the tool tip screenshot above, the game only has auto-guard with no manual way to block.
Since you can’t block manually, you need to find other ways to avoid attacks. You can try to dodge attacks, swap out characters, or even counter long range attacks with a long range attack of your own. None of these options are a good replacement for blocking, but when blocking isn’t an option, a combination of these tactics can at least help out on the defensive end.
If a future patch changes anything in regards to how to block, we’ll be sure to update this article. In the meantime you can find more strategies and advice, such as what friendship really means, in our Dragon Ball Legends game hub!
