Does Modern Warfare 3 Beta Progress Carry Over to the Full Game? – Answered

Can players carry their progress to the full game?

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 beta is now available for both PC and console users. With early access for PC and Xbox starting on October 12, players are wondering whether they are going to gain any lasting rewards after experiencing the revamped maps, weapons, and other new features that the game has to offer. While the prospect of leveling up everything and progressing through the game is great, some Modern Warfare 3 players may not want to do it more than once. As such, it’s important to know whether or not the progression from the beta will carry over to the full release of Modern Warfare 3.

Will MW3 Beta Progress Carry to the Full Game?

Unfortunately, progress made during the beta will not carry over to the full release of Modern Warfare 3. This means that even if players make any progress throughout the open beta and experience the new features and weapons in the game alongside their console and PC partners, they will still have to start from scratch once the full version of the game launches.

The Modern Warfare 3 beta will allow players to reach a level cap of 30. This level cap allows them to unlock gear to use in their loadouts as they progress through each of the levels after hitting the Player Level 4 milestone. Additionally, participating in the beta will give players some rewards including:

  • “Appetite: Whet” animated emblem – Unlocks at level 2
  • “Operation Beta” charm – Unlocks at level 7
  • “Beta Tester” calling card – Unlocks at level 9
  • “MW3 Beta” sticker – Unlocks at level 11
  • “Did the Beta” large decal – Unlocks at level 16
  • “Beta Ripper” weapon blueprint  – Unlocks at level 20
  • “Beta Proof” weapon sticker – Unlocks at level 25
  • “Tester” Jabber operator skin – Unlocks at level 30

So, players will still have something to look forward to even if the progression is reset once the game fully launches on November 10. If you’re looking for some more content regarding Modern Warfare 3, check out our guide on what the best vest to wear is.
