Lego Horizon Adventures was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2024, and we had our first look at the multi-platform Lego release, based on the popular PlayStation IP, Horizon. This exciting adventure sees the return of Aloy, and you’ll be able to play the entire campaign in co-op as well. However, does Lego Horizon Adventures have crossplay support? Here is everything we know so far.

Does Lego Horizon Adventures Have Crossplay Support?

Lego Horizon Adventures does not have crossplay support, but it does have couch co-op and online play for up to two players.

This confirmation comes from JorRaptor, who attended a preview event to check out the title. They confirmed on Twitter that while the game does have online co-op, Lego Horizon Adventures doesn’t feature crossplay, despite early rumors suggesting it would.

This is a bit disappointing all things considered, and we’re wondering why the game couldn’t support the feature. It was a perfect opportunity for players on different platforms to enjoy the two-player experience together, but it seems they’ll be limited to their platform’s ecosystem.

Lego Horizon Adventures Platforms

The game is coming to PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store later this year. There’s no confirmed release date at this point, but it’s coming out in Holiday 2024.

While PlayStation hasn’t officially confirmed the lack of cross-play support, we believe the information will be available once the store pages go live. A few outlets including Push Square who were also at the preview event have confirmed this as well.

We’re glad the game has couch co-op at least because this looks like the perfect title to play with a friend over. It’s reportedly not that long either, and the campaign is around seven to eight hours in length.

Speaking of crossplay, EA Sports College Football 25 is coming out next month on multiple platforms, so make sure to read up on its crossplay and cross-progression features.
