On the road again, mayhaps?

It’s understandable why you may want to dip your toes back into the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 as quickly as you finish it, but can you carry over all of your hard-earned victories to a New Game Plus option? Arise, Arisen, and let’s find out whether Dragon’s Dogma 2 has New Game Plus together.

Can You Do a New Game Plus Run in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Ready to give things another go and do some of the quests you may have had to leave behind? You’ll be glad to know that, yes, Dragon’s Dogma 2 does have New Game Plus. As soon as you complete the game, you’ll have the option to start over again with all your current equipment and materials — but there is a catch.

You’ll need to play through the game’s tutorial section once again, so it’ll be back to the start for you if you’re hoping to give New Game Plus a run for its money. Once you reach the capital city of Vermundt again, you’ll have the opportunity to revisit the Vocations Guild, swap back to your favorite class, and then access your Storage to get your gear back. It felt very strange going back to basics for a bit there, and I was very glad to be back in my old skin again.

You’ll also be able to retain your Arisen and Pawn looks if you so choose, with the ability to change things up a bit if you don’t want to waste your Rift Crystals on the Art of Metamorphosis to change them up at a barber. Once you’ve tweaked your game to be exactly as you’d like it to be once again, it’s time to start exploring the world and seeing all of the sights you may have been too cautious to see the first time around.

No matter if you’ve been a fan of Dragon’s Dogma since the first release on Xbox 360 and PS3, or this will be your first time experiencing the world that Capcom has crafted, be sure to keep up with our section below to see why this sequel is one of the best-crafted games on the market.
