Diablo 4 Season 1 Classes Ranked

Which class is the best in Season 1?

When the Season 1 patch dropped for Diablo 4, there were plenty of changes made to global stats and individual skills in each of the five classes. Many of the meta damage options were nerfed, and that means it’s time for a fresh class ranking before the Season of the Malignant really gets going. Here’s all Diablo 4 Season 1 Classes ranked.

What is the Best Class in Diablo 4 Season 1?

The best class in Season 1 of Diablo 4 is the Druid. With all the nerfs to Vulnerable and Critical damage, among other changes across the board, the opportunity for the Druid to shine came along. Below you can find the full class ranking in order from best to worst.

All Diablo 4 Season 1 Classes Ranked:

  1. Druid
  2. Rogue
  3. Necromancer
  4. Barbarian
  5. Sorcerer

The Druid and the Rogue are fairly close in terms of ranking, and you could make an argument for either class. However, the nerfs to Vulnerable damage, critical strikes, and Siphoning Strikes have definitely hurt the Rogue. The Druid class remains almost unkillable and has a ton of diversity. If you want the best class in Diablo 4 Season 1, then go with the Druid, which I already started.

Next are the Necromancer and the Barbarian. Both of these are viable but the Necromancer has the edge. Like the Rogue, the Necro took a hit in Season 1, and that brings it down, while the Barbarian was able to maintain position. So the Necromancer is still better, but not as incredible as it was before Season 1.

Our last class on the list is the Sorcerer. This class was already the worst before the Season of the Malignant, and for some reason, Blizzard continued the trend. Even abilities like Teleport were kicked down a notch. You can always run the Sorcerer for fun but don’t expect to look like the Rogue or the Druid.
