Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight Level Requirement

You better watch out, you better watch out...

Blizzard’s penchant for rewarding holiday events spares not even the hellish landscape of Diablo 4’s Sanctuary. The new Midwinter Blight event starts today: here’s what you’ll need to access it and earn the newest rewards.

Does the Diablo IV Midwinter Blight Event Have a Level Requirement?

There is no level requirement for the Midwinter Blight Event. In fact, players from level 1 can enjoy the new festivities as long as they’re playing on the Seasonal Realm. This means you can earn new rewards and accept the new event quest from Gileon the Bard on any World Tier and at any level. Christmas for everyone!

If you haven’t made a Seasonal character but want to participate, this could be a great opportunity to try making a new character to enjoy the event. Gileon the Bard sells a potion that boosts experience gains by 15% – a hefty boost that will get your new character off the ground fast.

Midwinter Blight brings an endless storm to the Fractured Peaks. This whirling squall surrounds Kyovashad, home to a new festive square where you’ll find Gileon, the new NPC who will task you with collecting materials from enemies and selling you items and cosmetics.

The event will see you hunting down the Red Cloaked Horror and his minions, who, according to the developers, are just trying to vibe and enjoy the holidays. But they’re vibing all wrong and causing all sorts of trouble, so Gileon wants us to get out there and smash a few of em’, bringing back materials to decorate Kyovashad in the process.

There are 14 new cosmetics to earn during the event, including back ornaments and weapon skins for every class. For more information on these merry new threads, check out our Midwinter Blight Cosmetic guide.
