Diablo 4: Full Map and Regions Guide

Get ready to explore all of Sanctuary.

Sanctuary is full of new locations for players to explore in Diablo 4, and unlike the other entries in the series, the entire map is connected in a semi-open world fashion. At the start of the game, most of the map will be covered in mist, but I uncovered every location so you could get a look at all of Sanctuary.

Full Map and Regions in Diablo 4

There are five regions in total that you can discover as you explore the map in Diablo 4. Each one has sub-regions and entirely different themes that separate Sanctuary as a whole. Below you can find the uncovered map of each region and a description of the area.

1. Fractured Peaks

Once you create your character in Diablo 4, you will start in the Fractured Peaks region. The area is covered in snow and has mountainous terrain. You will start your journey here along with the city of Kyovashad as the base of operations.

2. Scosglen

Northwest of the peaks, there is another region that is mostly grasslands and beast-like creatures. Druids will feel right at home here and there is a small mixture of bogs to walk through.

3. Dry Steppes

After Scosglen, you can head south and reach the first desert-like area. Most of the terrain is rocky, but there are hints of the desert region that is to come. Prepare for some fresh challenges and Ked Bardu as your new main city.

4. Kehjistan

This is the true desert region in Diablo 4. There is a massive dune sea, an oasis sub-region, and plenty of demons to take on as well. Some of the PvP zones also happen to be located on this side of Sanctuary. Be prepared for much of the main story to appear here.

5. Hawezar

The final region unlocks in Diablo 4, Hawezar is an area full of swamps and smaller grasslands. Poison is the name of the game here, and some of the late-game story missions will appear in the area. You can get here from Fractured Peaks, but it’s definitely not recommended.
