Destiny 2 Xur Location Guide – August 16 to 20

First of all, you’re going to have to nail down where this wandering vagabond is before you can snoop out what he’s packing. Luckily, this week’s Destiny 2 Xur location isn’t particularly hard to find. He’s currently hiding out on Titan by the Rig, which is to the east of Siren’s Watch.

As to what he’s got knocking around in his sack, you’ll be keen to know that those looking for firepower will be well-served. Here’s the complete list of what Xur has to offer. Please note that the maximum Light level of what he can serve up is going to be 731 if you’re currently at 750, so make sure that this is a good use of your time.

Aeon Swift

This particular gauntlet is a Hunter weapon, and it has a perk which revolves around the rest of your squad actually, well, also using Aeon items. It costs 23 Legendary Shards. The Aeon Energy perk means that other Aeon weapon users in your fireteam get energy, and you can get a reciprocal cycle going if those other players also deign to use the perk on you. As far as how this works in the scheme of the game now, they aren’t particularly useful so maybe use your Shards on something else.

Stronghold

This Titan gauntlet costs 23 Legendary Shards, and they’re probably marginally more worth it than the Aeon Swift. The perk that comes into play here is Clenched Fist — blocking with a sword gives you extra movement speed and negates any ammo reduction. If you’re particularly on point with your countering, you can get health back.

Telesto

This Exotic fusion rifle is worth a pretty penny in terms of Legendary Shards compared to the other offerings this week. You’ll need 29 Legendary Shards for this. It’s got two perks that might be of interest: Unplanned Reprieve — firing Telesto means that you get a second burst of damage onto enemies, and Harbinger’s Pulse — multikills will reload any Energy or Kinetic weapons you have.

Verity’s Brow

Verity’s Brow is one in a long list of Warlock armor Exotics and the utility-focused perk that it gives might well be something that you want to work into your arsenal. It costs 23 Legendary Shards and the perk that it gives is The Fourth Magic — your kills will give you and your allies grenade energy as a result.

Isochronal Engram

This is worth 97 Legendary Shards and those familiar with Xur will note that it’ll drop a Year 1 Exotic that you don’t possess. Roll the dice if you want, but it’s definitely a pricey endeavor for those that aren’t collectors.

Invitation Quest

If you still haven’t completed this quest, you can acquire it from Xur for 9 Legendary Shards – a paltry sum.

Our handy Destiny 2 Xur location guide has now given you the lowdown on where he is and what he’s got for sale. All that’s left is for you to decide whether or not you want to splash out on the junk in his trunk.
