First, players will need to secure the Symmetry weapon itself before being able to tackle the remastered quest for it. You can get this scout rifle by either purchasing the Season of Dawn Pass, which will give you the weapon at the seasonal rank of 1 or acquiring the item by reaching seasonal rank 35.

Once you have acquired the weapon, head to the Tower and speak with trusty old Banshee-44. He will then give you the Symmetry Remastered quest to complete. Now, the process for completing the Symmetry Remastered quest is not a complex one. However, it will be a very serious time commitment for players. Individuals will need to complete 400 matches in a variety of activities. You can find the eligible activities below:

  • Nightfalls
  • Strikes
  • Gambit
  • Sundial
  • Crucible

It is also important to note that you do not need to have the weapon equipped to receive progress when you are completing matches in the Destiny 2 activities above. Following your completion of 400 games, you will be able to make your way back to Banshee-44 and turn in the quest, which will then grant you the catalyst for the exotic weapon. This particular catalyst increases your Dynamic Charge cap.
