We’ve got our hands full with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep at the moment, but for us Guardians who have been gearing up and dealing with the Vex Offensive, the best is yet to come. We’ve got our eye on what Bungie is putting out next, so check out what we know so far about the Destiny 2 Shadowkeep roadmap and what we’re looking forward to.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Roadmap – Where Are We Up To?
Bungie had a rather comprehensive content roadmap that they announced in the leadup to Shadowkeep actually dropping, but now that we’ve actually cracked a fair way into the expansion, some new initiatives have been announced. Here are the content milestones that we’ve passed so far as a community in Destiny 2:
- October 5 – Garden of Salvation raid
- October 5 – Vex Offensive is launched
- October 8 – Hero Nightmare Hunts
- October 15 – Legend Nightmare Hunts
- October 15 – Iron Banner
- October 22 – Leviathan’s Breath Exotic quest
- October 22 – Master Nightmare Hunts
- October 29 – Xenophage Exotic quest
- October 29 – Pit of Heresy launch
- October 29 – Momentum Control PVP mode launched
- October 29 to November 19 – Festival of the Lost
Now that we’re staring November straight in the face, here are the last two milestones that Bungie has identified as part of the Shadowkeep content that’s still to come:
- November 5 – Garden of Salvation raid challenge unlocked
- November 19 – Vex Offensive: Final Assault is launched
We’ve had plenty of time with the Vex Offensive so far, and we know that the game has been building up to a climactic final confrontation so we’ve got our eyes trained on the Final Assault and we can’t wait for it to go live. With Guardians having had plenty of time with the Garden of Salvation, and then later on last month with the Pit of Heresy, it’s been a good few weeks of grinding out content and getting equipped to take on the latest and biggest threats that Destiny 2 will throw at us.
