Tuesday, October 1st has given the Destiny 2 community plenty to be excited about with the launch of the title’s Shadowkeep expansion. This Shadowkeep expansion has brought plenty of new content for Guardians to enjoy. Players will be happy to see they can immediately jump into this content by tackling the new Pain and Gain quest.
Destiny 2 Pain and Gain
The Destiny 2 Pain and Gain quest will reward players with an exotic weapon upon completion. Guardians can acquire this quest from Banshee-44 in the tower right when they launch Shadowkeep for the first time. The first step in the Destiny 2 Pain and Gain exotic weapon quest tasks players with completing three different objectives. You can find these three objectives below:
- Complete a Lost Sector in the EDZ
- Heroic public event completed
- Nightfall strike completed
This first round of tasks for one of the very first Shadowkeep quests is not too complicated. Players should not have much trouble completing each of these objectives in a dedicated playing session of Destiny 2. The hardest part of the Pain and Gain quest we currently know about will be completing a Nightfall strike considering it is one of the most challenging activities in the Bungie title. However, some efficient communication between fireteam members and talented players should make the completion of this week’s Nightfall strike an easy job regarding its role in the Destiny 2 Pain and Gain quest.
Once you have completed this portion, you will see a new mission called Risk/Reward appear in the EDZ. Head to this area and beginning killing regular enemies. This will cause Dusk Captains to spawn. Guardians will need to kill a total of three Dusk Captains and then the Walker Tank to finish the Destiny 2 Pain and Gain quest. An exotic rifle will be your reward for your effort in completing this activity.
We will continue to update this article with more information regarding the Destiny 2 Pain and Gain exotic weapon quest the farther we get in discovering its secrets.
