Destiny 2 Izanami Forge Drones Guide

Still trying to grind away at getting Izanagi’s Burden in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep? We don’t blame you, that Exotic is a pretty attractive catch. However, you might be struggling with one crucial portion of actually unlocking the Mysterious Box which will help you nab the sniper rifle in the first place – finding all the drones in the various forges. Check out our Destiny 2 Izanami Forge drones guide for some help with this particular location.

Destiny 2 Izanami Forge Drones Guide

The Mysterious Box set of quests will require you to find drones in the different Black Armory forges. Taking out these drones will give you what’s called a Maximum Temper buff – you’re going to need this when you clear each Forge out if you want to get the associated key to unlock the Box with. With the Izanami Forge, your goal is going to be to get the Izanami key.

The Izanami Forge drones aren’t all that tough to find. However, this forge is larger than the others so they’re not quite in the same eye-line like the Volundr Forge drones were. As you’re stepping foot into the arena, head down the stairs to the sheer drop and you’ll see two platforms with circular wells on them on. Each of these platforms will have a drone flying around above it, and they’ll be pretty distinct to spot. You’ll want to aim about part-way up the respective pillars and structures around those wells and they’ll drift into view soon enough. Once you’ve taken them down, you’ll get the Maximum Temper buff that you need to get the Izanami key after you’ve gunned through the whole Forge.

Now that you have our Destiny 2 Izanami Forge drones guide at your disposal, it’ll be easy enough for you to take them down and to claim the Izanami key that you need to advance your agenda with the Mysterious Box.
