How to Get Resonate Stem in Warmind

You won’t be able to farm any Resonate Stem until you’ve completed the main campaign for Warmind, as well as the two world quests that end with you picking up the IKELOS_HC_V.1.0.1 legendary hand cannon. Once you’ve got all of that done, you start the Nascent Dawn 1/5 quest step, which tasks you with completing three patrols on Mars, followed by looting a lost sector on the planet. You’ll eventually see a message at the bottom of your screen stating, “You’ve acquired enough Resonate Stems to make an Override Frequency. Open your inventory to generate one.” This should appear under the heading Project: CB.NAV.

You’ll use four of the Resonate Stems in order to create an Override Frequency. This is used to access to one of the 40 Sleeper Nodes on the red planet. The Sleeper Nodes, will likely be one of the main components if you’re looking to pick up the Sleeper Simulant exotic linear fusion rifle. But you’ll need a lot more Resonate Stems than those small few. Here are a few ways you can get in on the Resonate Stem farming:

  • Vanguard Patrols
  • Lost Sectors
  • High-Value Targets
  • Public Events
  • Completed Challenges

Most of these activities will grant you a single Resonate Stem, which means this is going to take awhile to farm. In theory, you’ll need 160 Resonate Stems for the 40 Override Frequencies necessary to gain access to each Sleeper Node. Luckily, you’ll only need 15 Sleeper Nodes for the Sleeper Simulant.
