Forbearance may just hold the title of the most sought-after Wave Frame Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2. Originally obtainable from the Vow of the Disciple Raid, Bungie intends to bring back Forbearance as part of the BRAVE Arsenal that is accompanying the Into the Light update. For players who are unable to raid, or simply want to bag a few more rolls, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the god roll Forbearance in Destiny 2 Into the Light.
How To Get Forbearance in Destiny 2
Forbearance can be obtained as a possible reward in the second encounter of the Vow of the Disciple Raid by defeating The Caretaker, or in the final encounter by defeated Rhulk.
However, as part of the BRAVE Arsenal, Forbearance will soon be returning as a reward for completing the Onslaught PvE playlist activity. The path to unlocking Forbearance in this instance, will be similar to other weapons in the BRAVE Arsenal.
Here’s how to get Forbearance in Destiny 2 when it eventually becomes available:
- Complete Arcite’s BRAVE Weapon Quest (specifically related to Forbearance).
- Attune the weapon in the Hall of Champions.
- Start farming Onslaught activities where you’ll find your rewards in the chests at the end.
Once the quest has been completed, you will be required to attune the weapon. Once attuned, you will be given a curated roll that has fixed perks. However, attuning Forbearance increases its drop rate by 50% across all Onslaught activities (Normal and Legend). This will allow you to begin farming for your god roll.
Forbearance PvP God Roll in Destiny 2
Wave Frame Grenade Launchers have been gradually seeing more usage over time in The Crucible, and Forbearance is no exception. If you wish to try this weapon out in PvP, here’s our pick for the roll:
- Barrel: Quick Launch
- Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
- Perk 1: Unrelenting
- Perk 2: Desperate Measures
- Masterwork: Handling
The synergy between Unrelenting and Desperate Measures is what this roll is all about. Unrelenting gives you health regeneration upon kills, while Desperate Measures gives you a damage boost upon final blows. In PvP, this is a roll you can’t go wrong with.
Forbearance PvE God Roll in Destiny 2
The weapon shines the most in PvE activities due to it being a Wave Frame, and also because of its perk pool. For PvE, here’s our pick for the best Forbearance god roll:
- Barrel: Quick Launch
- Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
- Perk 1: Ambitious Assassin
- Perk 2: Chain Reaction/One for All
- Masterwork: Reload Speed
This has always been the go-to roll for Forbearance in PvE. Even with the Chain Reaction nerf, this roll still has the potential to be an absolute beast in PvE encounters. For those Guardians out there who have already gotten this roll from the Vow of the Disciple Raid, another perk that can fit well on this weapon is One for All. One for All is another perk that increases the weapon’s damage output, which is always useful.
