Despite its excellent visuals, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 doesn’t seem like it’s very demanding. At 1080p, if you’re targeting 60 FPS at the high preset, you’ll need something like an RTX 3070 paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X. There is no mention of upscaling in the specifications, but it’s fair to assume that the game will leverage DLSS/FSR/XeSS to improve performance.

It’s developed on Unreal Engine 5, so we can expect similar issues and potential performance issues, but we’re hopeful that the developers implement a shader compilation step at the start. Outside of that, the game requires 55 GB of free space, and 16 GB is recommended. An SSD isn’t listed here, but it’s safe to assume that you’ll need it.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition

Compared to the $50 Standard Edition, the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition costs $60 instead and includes the following additional content:

Both the Standard and Deluxe editions are currently 10% off on all stores, and there is no pre-order-specific bonus.
