You so 3001, I'm so three thousand and done.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide has finally entered its official release, and while the game is getting pretty decent praise for its stunning visuals and visceral combat, it’s not without a handful of bugs and error codes that plague most big releases these days. Can You Fix Error Code 3001 ‘Failed Joining Server’ in Warhammer 40K: Darktide?

Error Code 3001 seems to happen most often when players are first loading into the game, after they’ve selected their character and are attempting to enter the Mourningstar hub area. Sometimes, however, it’s been reported to kick players as they’re in the middle of a match.

It’s not entirely known why the error code occurs and, unfortunately, there’s no definitive fix to prevent it from happening. For cases like this, we recommend going through the tried and true troubleshooting methods that seem to help some players avoid the error. If you’re experiencing error code 3001 in Darktide, try these steps out:

Restart Your Game

Sometimes, Darktide may just be acting funky. Try giving it a restart to see if it can successfully connect to the game servers.

Restart Your PC

Other times, your PC itself may be acting funky. Give your PC a fresh reboot to clear out any memory leaks or other weird Windows hiccups that may be happening.

Restart Your Modem/Router

If all else fails, you may just be having internet issues. Unplug your internet router, wait about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Once you’re back online, attempt to connect to Darktide servers again.
