Does TopSpin 2K25 Have Different Difficulty Settings?

There are five different difficulty settings that players can opt for while starting a match. These five levels are unlocked from the very beginning, so anyone can choose between them at any given time.

  • Very Easy
  • Easy
  • Normal
  • Hard
  • Very Hard

These settings are distinctly different, so you must understand your skill level before the start of any match. Additionally, two more difficulty settings are available in the game – Expert and Legend.

Both Expert and Legend will be locked when you start the game. However, they can be unlocked by completing different challenges. You can find them in the Unlock Overview from the main menu.

How to Change Difficulty in TopSpin 2K25

Changing a match difficulty is pretty simple. You can change the difficulty from the pre-match settings. Since this will be a new game for many gamers, it’s best to start a match at Normal difficulty. That will give you a fair idea about which level of difficulty is right for you.

Moreover, you can only tweak the difficulty of matches that are held against AI. This benefit is naturally unavailable if you’re playing against any human opponent. The match difficulty can only be changed before you start a game. Once a match has started, there’s no way to change the difficulty (for now).

TopSpin 2K25 marks the return of the popular franchise in a brand new way and features major superstars from the world of Tennis. There’s plenty of exciting content, different game modes, and more awaiting the players. The game goes live globally on April 25 across PCs and consoles.
