I don’t think it is possible to find a more adorable mushroom than Morelull. A dual Grass/Fairy Pokemon which was first introduced in Generation VII, Morelull will be part of the upcoming Pokemon GO Festival of Lights event. But can it be shiny?
Is Morelull Shiny in Pokemon GO?
So, can this almost seasonal-like version of Morelull be caught in Pokemon GO? Yes! Shiny Morelull can be caught in Pokemon GO as it debuted in the Festival of Lights event. This means that you will have more of a chance to catch it during the event, but you will be able to encounter one post-event too, if you’re lucky.
The shiny form of Morelull is rather autumnal which makes it the perfect time to add one to your collection. Instead of the Fairyesque pastel colors of the regular variant, the shiny version has Fall hues of yellow, brown, red, and orange. Just like the trees outside if you’re lucky enough to live in a part of the world that experiences all four seasons.
Where to Find Morelull in Pokemon GO
If you are looking to find a shiny Morelull, you should take advantage of its appearance in the Festival of Lights event. You will be able to find it via the following methods.
- Wild Pokemon encounters.
- Using Incense to increase the likelihood of it spawning.
- During the Festival of Lights event you can find Morelull in 7KM eggs.
As usual, events in Pokemon GO do not last long, so make the most of the Festival of Lights for your Morelull hunt. Don’t fret if you miss out though, as there will be chances in the future to find a Morelull post-event. You’ll just have to be a little patient, and speaking of Pokemon GO patience, it’s a good idea to keep in mind when the next full moon will be.
