Can Contraband Stash Slots be Increased in COD DMZ? – Answered

Running out of space?

One of the best features in the Call of Duty: DMZ mode is the ability to extract weapons from the Exclusion zones and save them in your Contraband Stash for use on a different deployment. It’s the gameplay loop that keeps the mode exciting, but it’s easy to run out of slots.

For those that own Modern Warfare 2, there are a total of 20 slots that can be filled in the stash. Players that are on Warzone 2 only have even fewer slots at a total of 10. In this guide, we’ll discuss if there’s a way to increase the Contraband Stash storage and how it works in the DMZ.

COD DMZ – Can Contraband Stash Slots be Increased?

The short answer to the question is no, there is no official way to increase your stash slots in the current state of the game. Buying Modern Warfare 2 is one way that Warzone 2 players can double their space, but that’s the only other base game method of adding extra space.

For those that don’t care about Faction Missions, or are done, there is a way to slowly increase stash slots. If you extract from the COD DMZ with Contraband weapons, then return to the menu, you can swap those weapons out for your Insured Weapons. This will throw the extra weapons into the Contraband Stash, effectively increasing the slot space.

This will come at a cost. You can’t add new Faction Missions to your list until you empty out your Contraband Stash inventory. That’s why you should leave this method behind if you have missions to complete. Otherwise, extract all the DMZ weapons that you can.
