Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Infected – Accessing This Game Mode

If you need a bit of a primer in the history of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Infected, then we’ll break it down for ya. Essentially, it was an April Fool’s introduction that got super out of hand, and it became a bit of a fan favorite in successive titles after Modern Warfare 3 because of it.

Now, if you’re wanting to crack into the Infected multiplayer game mode in Modern Warfare, you just have to pick it up from where you’d usually sort out your multiplayer configurations for play. However, you only have about a week or so with this title – the game mode will exit the rotation on December 18, so you’re going to have to get all your zombie-killing out of the way before the Christmas holidays really kick into full swing.

How Infected works is pretty easy: one player in the match will be selected for Infected status, and their job is to infect the rest while the other players try and take down whoever gets turned into, well, a Zombie. We’ll have more out on how to make the most of this game mode soon. Now that you know a little more about the Modern Warfare Infected multiplayer mode and how to access it, why not crack into some other guides that we’ve put together for Infinity Ward’s latest?
