Season 2 of Modern Warfare has injected a large amount of excitement in the Call of Duty community. A large portion of this excitement has come from a variety of teasers that look to provide clues towards the upcoming release of a Battle Royale game mode for the first-person shooter. There was also a group of unintended leaks that suggest this teased Battle Royale game mode will be called Warzone. Fortunately, we have all of the currently known information about this leaked game mode covered for you.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone
One of the most significant leaks regarding this Battle Royale game mode was of an image that was posted to the game’s official Reddit page. This image showcases the Warzone name with a variety of characters standing on a helicopter wreck. You can find this leaked image below via Dexerto.
This Warzone image leaked was then accompanied by a series of leaks from YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, who has provided fruitful leaks of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the past. You can find images from this series of leaks below:

The legitimacy of the Warzone image was then further supported by the fact that Activision claimed a copyright strike on the leaked image across social media on various individuals who posted the leaked photo.

While these leaks have not yet been officially confirmed and should still be taken with a grain of salt, it is looking very likely that players will soon be able to dive into a Battle Royale game mode called Warzone sometime in Season 2.
