Use Cover To Stay Alive

If you want to survive in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, then you’re going to have to learn how everything works. While movement is a key part of the game, so is making use of the cover that you have available. Thanks to the thrust jump included with each of the game’s Rigs, there are now more ways than ever to stay moving and behind cover from enemy fire. Make use of each outcropping, wall, corner and barricade to ensure that you always stay out of sight of your enemies until it is too late for them to retaliate.

Keep Moving To Throw Off Your Enemies

Using cover is important, but so is constant movement. With the addition of jump thrusters to your Rigs, there is absolutely no reason for any person to sit around camping a single corner of the map. Movement is your most important key to success, and you’ll want to stay moving as quickly and carefully as possible around the map. Not only does this allow you to flank your enemies, but it also prevents them from getting a bead on your location, which can allow you to easily manipulate the battlefield and turn the tide in your favor. This is also a really important tip to remember when playing Zombies in Spaceland, and you can see everything that’s new in Zombies in Spaceland by heading over to our guide.

Experiment with Different Rig Loadouts

Experimentation is the best way to discern which Rig loadouts work best for you. Thanks to an easy to use customization system, you can literally change your loadout at almost any time during the game. This is especially useful when you are getting used to the multiplayer, and even more useful as you get better at the game and learn which Rig loadouts work best for countering your enemy’s loadout. The expanded customization slots are also an important part of the equation, as they allow you to have plenty of options that you can easily switch between during matches.

Learn the Perks and Use Them To Your Advantage

Like previous Call of Duty games, Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer is largely built around its Perk system. These special “powers” or “abilities” allow you to gain advantages over your enemy. Because of this, each and every player should do their best to learn everything that they can about this system, as it can make or break the loadout that you currently have equipped. You won’t have all of these Perks unlocked at the start, but take a look at them, see which Perks work best for your playstyle and then choose Perks that cater to your most enjoyable way of play. This will ensure that you have the best experience, and that your full loadout caters directly to the way that you like to do things.

Multiplayer combat is always evolving as players learn new combinations of items and weapons to help them dominate the battlefield. While it is important to keep up with these trends, it is also important to know how to make the game work for you. Use the tips we listed above to learn how to become a better player, and be sure to take a look at our Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare walkthrough for more information and tips.
