The Venn diagram of Legendary weapon collectors in Borderlands 3 and hunters of all the pop culture Easter eggs is probably just a circle. If you think that you’ve already collected your fair share of loot, then think again. That’s right: the Easter eggs keep on coming, and we reckon you should check out our Borderlands 3 Rick and Morty gun guide to get your hands on that particular bad boy.

Borderlands 3 Rick and Morty Gun Guide: Location

The only way to get the Rick and Morty gun is to kill, well, Wick and Warty. Yes, those are their names, and killing the cursed pair will drop the Legendary weapon called Phebert. If you’re looking to find the duo, you’ll have to head over for Lectra City on Promethea. If you were already looking for the One Pump Chump, then you’ve got an idea of the locale. Those who are looking to get rid of Killavolt will also be familiar with where to go: we’d say stop off at the Fast Travel Station and hang right until you reach the corner of the map almost directly north from the save point. You should find Wick and Warty hanging about, so you can easily get rid of these two chumps.

Borderlands 3 Rick and Morty Gun Guide: Kill Wick & Warty

Yeah, you have to kill Wick and Warty if you want Phebert. We would recommend taking out anything that’s messing around the area (read: robots) and then focus on killing Wick. The Wartys are going to be flying around the place too, but those are much less of an issue compared to Wick. Once Wick is taken out, you’ll be blessed with the Phebert legendary gun so you can dip it in Szechuan sauce and call it a day.

Borderlands 3 Rick and Morty Gun Guide: Phebert Stats

While this doesn’t have the raw damage output of the Porcelain Pipe Bomb grenade or the One Pump Chump, it definitely has a larger magazine size. It does a healthy amount of damage, has a good shield capacity, and has a good amount of increased weapon damage. We would note that it also consumes 2 ammo per shot and doesn’t quite have the reload speed to make up for it, so keep that in mind if you’re wanting to make full use of it on the uh, desert fields of Pandora and beyond. Maybe they’ll patch in Pickle Wick with the next DLC drop, and I suppose we’ll have to write about that too. Check our Borderlands 3 guides hub for more helpful tips and tricks that aren’t about pop culture Easter eggs.
