With her own special DLC for Borderlands 3 hot on the horizon, Mad Moxxi’s currently the talk of the town. Well, the belle of the ball, maybe, but who’s really keeping track? Not only will you be running and gunning through Hyperion lackeys for her very soon, but she also manages to run one of the safest liquor establishments in the galaxy. Borderlands 3 Moxxi Tip Jar Guide

You can find Moxxi’s tip jar sitting conveniently at the bar on Sanctuary. Whether or not you’re from a country with tipping culture, you’re probably going to agree that Vault Hunters the galaxy over owe her a lot more than just the tip. As such, we would recommend that you give – generously. Series veterans will remember that there’s always a reward for being decent like this, and we’re happy to report that this is the case in Borderlands 3 too. 

If you tip her $30,000, she’s going to give you a gun. Yes, we did say that she was a deadly dame. You’ll get a gun called the Deft Hail, which is a Dahl assault rifle allowing you to swap between two states based on your playstyle – automatic and 3-shot burst. Even if you don’t feel like shelling out for the whole damn thing, just popping at least $100 will quality for you the “Tips Appreciated” achievement so it’s not all a waste for you if you’re not a high-roller. The Deft Hail definitely looks like a very Moxxi gun in terms of aesthetic, so we reckon it’s actually a pretty nice pick-up if you’re wanting to kit yourself out in the same style.
