Best Ways to Farm Orokin Cells in Warframe (2023)

Sadly, you can't Cell them.

It wouldn’t be Warframe if there weren’t a million resources that needed farming, and a million different ways of using those resources. Crafting and leveling are the name of the game, but to do that you must first have more than enough of various items. One such item is Orokin Cells, though given how hard they are to get and how many you need, you’ll be farming them for a while. Here are the best ways to farm Orokin Cells in Warframe.

The Best Missions to Farm Orokin Cells in Warframe

Orokin Cells are incredibly rare, and only drop from the planets Saturn, Ceres, and Deimos. All bosses in the game also have a chance to drop an Orokin Cell, making boss farming another viable method for getting a lot of them quickly. As such, your best bets are going to be Survival missions and Assassination missions on any of those planets. A few favorite Survival missions include Gabii on Ceres and Piscinas on Saturn, which can tend to yield anywhere from 3-7 Orokin Cells every 20 minutes in our experience.

An even better method though comes the way of General Sargas Ruk’s Assassination mission, which can be found at Tethys on the planet Saturn. He’s a very easy boss to defeat, requiring you simply hit the glowing spots on his body armor when they open up. Most defeats should drop you an Orokin Cell or two, alongside whatever you might find exploring around the map. You’ll also get parts for the Warframe Ember, should you not have her yet.

While you can farm Orokin Cells just about anywhere on the three planets we mentioned, these locations should yield you the greatest return for your time. You’ll get some extra resources on the side if you decide to jump into one of the Survival missions as well, so we suggest that should you want to stockpile some of the more common resources. Good luck getting the Orokin Cells you need! Make sure to check our guide on Revenant Prime’s relics as well, if you don’t have him yet.
