Best Ways to Farm Artifice Armor in Destiny 2

Artifice Armor is the best armor you can get in the game, barring Exotics. And the reason for this is simple: it gives you an extra armor mod socket, meaning you can elevate your build to the next level.

This is how Guardians hit those triple 100’s in their stats, and it’s ideal if you’re trying to achieve those solo flawless dungeon completions. And the best way to get Artifice Armor is by completing dungeons.

Tip:

Before you follow this guide, be sure to equip a Ghost Mod! Certain Ghost Mods will ensure that the armor piece that drops will have a guaranteed 10 in the stat you prefer. So, the Ghost Mod Discipline Armorer will ensure that the random stat on the Artifice Armor will have a 10 in the Disciple column at a minimum.

To get Artifice Armor in Destiny 2, you’ll need to tackle Master Dungeons. Warlord’s Ruin, Duality, the Grasp of Avarice, and the Spire of the Watcher all have a chance of dropping Artifice Armor.

To select Master Difficulty, just select a dungeon like normal. Then, click the difficulty setting, which by default is set to ‘Normal’. This will bring you to a submenu that shows all difficulty levels and the Modifiers each difficult contains.

Master difficulty will increase the power level of enemies, give them buffs, and add more enemies in general. You can expect to face shielded foes and champions.

Once you’ve done that, you can complete any encounter. However, the Artifice Armor that drops will reflect the normal loot pool of that encounter.

For example, the first encounter in Warlord’s Ruin will always have a chance to drop a Helmet, Arms, or Leg Armor. So, a Master level completion of this first encounter has a chance to drop an Artifice Armor Helmet, Arms, and Leg Armor.

In fact, Warlord’s Ruin’s first encounter is one of the best dungeons to farm. This is because it’s very easy to get to this first encounter. You can quickly hit the damage phase, and the mechanics are very simple. Alternatively, the Grasp of Avarice’s first ogre boss is a great encounter as well.

But it’s worth noting that the only Master level dungeons you can tackle are the newest one and the one that’s part of the weekly rotation. So, if you don’t like the newest dungeon, you may have to wait quite a while before a good Artifice farm appears again.
