The Stormender is a new launcher weapon introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with Season 1. It is a more unconventional weapon compared to the grenade launchers and RPGs, but players can still make a good class around it.
Best Stormender Loadout in Modern Warfare 3
Since the Stormender is a launcher-type weapon for the secondary slot, there are no attachments for the weapon. Therefore, here is the best loadout to use with the Stormender in Modern Warfare 3:
- Vest – Engineer Vest
- Tactical – Stun Grenade
- Field Upgrade – Trophy System
- Gloves – Quick-Grip Gloves
- Boots – Running Sneakers
- Gear – Ghost T/V Camo, Tac Mask
The Stormender is a portable EMP gun with infinite ammo and no reload, and is best suited to take out killstreaks and field equipment. The Engineer Vest will highlight both in red for players to easily see on the battlefield.
The Quick-Grip Gloves make switching between weapons faster, while the Running Sneakers increase Tac Sprint duration to get into the front-line. The Tac Mask is to decrease the effects of most tactical grenades, while the Ghost T/V Camo shields you from showing up on UAVs.
The Trophy System is great at blocking incoming projectiles while the Stun Grenades are useful for stunning enemies nearby the field equipment. The primary weapon is down to personal preference, but an assault rifle is a good all-around weapon for both long and short-range engagements.
How to Unlock the Stormender in MW3
The Stormender can be unlocked in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by progressing through the Season 1 Battle Pass and completing Sector A12. The item is free to unlock, so players do not have to purchase the battle pass in order to get the weapon. While players can choose which path of rewards to follow in the pass, the shortest route will take 30 tokens to unlock the Stormender.
