Best RPK Loadout in Warzone 2 Season 1

Take advantage of the new meta.

The meta for Warzone 2 is still unfolding as the full player base gets access to the battle royale, but there are a few standout weapons that have risen to the top. One of those weapons is the RPK due to the combination of damage and stability it has at a base level.

With a few adjustments to the loadout, we can turn the RPK from a heavy light machine gun to a hybrid of an AR and an LMG containing the benefits of either side. It’s no coincidence that so many players are already running the Kastov variant. We’ll go over all the attachments you need in this LMG loadout guide for Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best RPK Loadout

This build will be similar to most of the assault rifle builds you’ll see in the new Warzone. However, we get to save a slot with attachments like the barrel and the magazine due to the base setup on the RPK. Every attachment you need is listed below.

  • Receiver: RPK
  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip
  • Stock: Heavy Support Stock
  • Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic

On this setup, we can skip the barrel, so we go directly to the next best things. To help bolster the base stats we already have, we go with the Polarfire-S muzzle, which gives us more damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. Pair that with the VX Pineapple and we have a recipe for an LMG that does disgusting damage with next to no recoil to account for.

After our initial pieces, we can move on to even more control for the RPK. For that, we’ll use the Heavy Support Stock and the Demo-X2 Grip. Both of these will provide plenty of additional recoil control to a point where it’ll feel like you’re shooting nerf darts.

The last attachment is a Warzone 2 staple, as well as the original, and that’s the VLK 4.0 Optic. This has always been the best optic for mid-range combat with versatile ranges in between. Essentially, it’s the perfect option for a primary weapon in the BR.
