Best Places to Farm Unstoppable Champions in Destiny 2

Become the nightmare of all Unstoppable Champions

With the arrival of Lightfall, we’ve seen a huge jump in the pest population. I’m talking, of course, about Champions. They’re practically everywhere, from Defiant Battlegrounds to Raids, pretty much everywhere you don’t want them to be. But is there a way to kill a bunch of them pretty quickly? Yeah, there is. Here’s the best places to farm Unstoppable Champions in Destiny 2.

Best Places to Farm Unstoppable Champions in Destiny 2

If you’re like 90% of the Destiny 2 community, you probably have a big ol’ 6 floating beside your nameplate. The six denotes your “experience” in the game, and no, it doesn’t take your hundreds (if not thousands) of hours into account. Only activities, which involve things like, “Talk to Saint-14 about Trials of Osiris, or, if you’re trying to get to Level 7, activities like Stun Unstoppable Champions.

But if you’re not really one for PvE endgame challenges, you might have found that this is an enemy you haven’t run into much. If that’s the case, there are a few places where you can easily farm these big boys out.

Legend Lost Sectors

Legend Lost Sectors are easily the best place to farm out Champions of all types. The only issue? There’s almost never three different types of Champions within. Usually you’ll see some combination of Barrier and Overload, Barrier and Unstoppable, and Overload and Unstoppable.

This combination changes each day, so it’s a good idea to check out your local Legend Lost Sector and see what’s available. There’s almost always a Champion within the first few minutes of the Lost Sector.

Nightfall

A little less effective than Legend Lost Sectors are Nightfalls. Why? Because you have to deal with other people. If you’re attempting to farm out Unstoppable Champions and need to stun them, you’ll be competing with your fireteam, who are likely prioritizing speed and efficiency over everything else.

That means they’re likely beelining it to the big juicy Champion who’s going to drop several thousand points. For that reason, it’s a good idea to go into a Nightfall with people you know or people you’re willing to talk to. Most Guardians chill enough to let you take down the Champions if you ask.

That being said, most Nightfalls have around ten total champions, with a minimum of two per type. So, for example, The Inverted Spire has two Overload Champions, three Unstoppable Champions, and five Barrier Champions.

A Grandmaster Nightfall has even more Champions but only of two types. The Corrupted, for example, has eight Overload Champions and ten Unstoppable Champions.

Other Options

If Legend Lost Sectors and Nightfalls don’t strike your fancy, other options are high-level Empire Hunts and Raids. There are quite a few Champions in the first encounter of the Root of Nightmares Raid and your team will love you if you kill them quickly.

Farming Champions can be hard! But if you’re trying to get the Queensguard Seal, here’s a quick and easy way to get plenty of Favors of Grace: Fastest Way to Farm Favors of Grace in Destiny 2.
