Best Necromancer Build for the Abattoir of Zir in Diablo 4

The Abattoir of Zir is no joke in the Diablo 4 Season of Blood, and if you’re playing a Necromancer, your build can drastically change the results. As someone who has tried a few different builds, I have the perfect setup I can vouch for before you jump in.

Best Build for the Necromancer in Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir

The best build for the Necromancer is the Bone Spear setup when you attempt the Abattoir of Zir. While the class has some challenges with defense compared to other options, it has tons of range and an incredible amount of burst damage. There is just enough defense in the class to keep you alive in most situations. Just don’t stand in between five elites at a time.

I used a setup from Maxroll that outlines exactly how to build the Bone Spear Necromancer for peak performance in the Abattoir of Zir. You want to use a Wand and the Lidless Wall Unique Shield for a fantastic mix of damage and defense with the Bone Storm. More damage is always an option with a two-handed sword, but I don’t recommend deviating.

Bone Spear Necromancer Skills:

• Bone Splinters – Basic
• Bone Spear – Core
• Blood Mist – Macabre
• Corpse Explosion – Corpse
• Corpse Tendrils – Corpse
• Bone Storm – Ultimate

As long as you have the aspects you need, such as Serration and Splintering, this build has all the options you need in an intense dungeon like the Abattoir of Zir. First, you build up essence with the splinters, and then you cast Corpse Tendrils to pull in all the enemies in the area. Finish by spamming Bone Spear until they are erased from the screen.

Bone Storm increases critical strike chance and also provides tons of AOE defense or damage. Then Blood Mist and Corpse Explosion are there as your utility options. Compared to the other classes, Blood Mist is one of the best escapes in the entire game.

All of these abilities will meld well with the Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul, which causes random Corpse Tendrils or Corpse Explosions to spawn in the area. Once you learn this class in Diablo 4, the Abattoir of Zir will play itself. I went from a Blood Lance setup to this and the results were immediate.
