How to Get the Lazy Shell for Mario in Super Mario RPG

To get the Lazy Shell weapon for Mario, you need:

  • A Seed, obtained from defeating Megasmilax and a Shy Away.
  • Fertilizer, obtained from talking to a Shy Away after defeating Valentina in Nimbus Land.

Take the Seed and the Fertilizer to the Gardener in the northeastern part of Rose Town. He will plant them together, resulting in a beanstalk Mario can climb. It leads to both the Lazy Shell weapon and armor, the latter being ideal for Peach.

How to Get the Super Suit for Mario in Super Mario RPG

To get the Super Suit, you need to do 100 consecutive Super Jumps by timing the A button presses right before landing on an enemy. After doing this, you can get the Super Suit from the Chow in Monstro Town. This is a very challenging feat to pull off, but it’s worth it for the amazing stat bonuses the armor gives.

The Super Suit can be equipped on anyone, but it’s especially recommended for Mario, who will always be in your party and attacking.

How to Get the Attack Scarf for Mario in Super Mario RPG

To get the Attack Scarf, you need to do 30 consecutive Super Jumps by timing the A button presses right before landing on an enemy. After doing this, you can get the Super Suit from the Chow in Monstro Town just like with the Super Suit—although you will more than likely earn the Attack Scarf first.
