Best M4 Loadout in COD MW2 Season 2

Despite so many changes happening to weapons in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the M4 came out untouched and it still melts through players with no issues. This AR and the Kastov-74u are the top dogs of MW2 and they are perfect for pubstomping in casual matches.

You won’t be able to bring the M4 into Ranked Play, so this loadout isn’t focused on any restrictions to attachments. We simply have casual matches in mind, and with the full game at hand, we can give you the best possible loadout for the classic AR in MW2.

COD MW2 Season 2 – Best M4 Loadout

Many of the same sentiments remain the same with this gun in Season 2. The goal is to boost control so that we can fight at medium range, but we also need the mobility to be high in order to capitalize on being a hybrid assault rifle. All of the attachments can be found below.

M4 Loadout MW2 Season 2:

  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
  • Muzzle: FJX Fulcrum Pro
  • Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Stock: Ravage-8

The foundation for this weapon is the Hightower 20″ Barrel and the FJX Fulcrum Pro muzzle. We want the M4 to tear through opponents at any range in Multiplayer, and with the base TTK, that won’t be an issue. Recoil by default can be tough in this loadout, so these are here to fix that.

Next is the Phase-3 Grip for the underbarrel and it serves two purposes. Recoil control will be even better with the Phase-3 on and our accuracy will be exactly where we want it. Hip fire accuracy will also go up, and that allows us to land some extra shots as we ADS into our iron sights.

Rounding out this M4 loadout are the XTEN Grip on the rear grip slot and the Ravage-8 stock. Both of these work in tandem to ensure that ADS and sprint to fire time are high enough on this loadout. We need to be able to challenge submachine guns in MW2 season 2, and this is the way to do it.
