It may not have the same name that we’re used to, but the ACR has finally returned to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The ISO Hemlock, as it’s named in Season 2, can be unlocked for free by progressing the Battle Pass, and everyone will need a good loadout to go along with it.
At this point in COD MW2, there is a similar process for most assault rifle loadouts we see in the game, but new ones always offer a new challenge. The ISO Hemlock already has a decent amount of recoil to deal with and the damage is good. We need to bring those two aspects together for a decent build.
COD MW2 Season 2 – Best ISO Hemlock Loadout
Recoil issues and the iron sight will be the largest problems when using the latest version of the ACR. Because of the recoil problems, we’ll also lose some mobility in the process of building the best loadout. We can even out the stats with the right pieces though. You can find the full build below.
ISO Hemlock Best Loadout MW2:
- Barrel: Fielder-T50
- Muzzle: FJX Fulcrum Pro
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
- Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
- Stock: Raid 90
Choosing a barrel is tough, and there are two decent options. We ended up with the Field-T50 barrel so that we can balance the recoil and add far more range to the weapon. Along with the FJX Fulcrum Pro, there should be plenty of control that capitalizes on the damage of the ACR.
Next, you’ll want to add the Phase-3 Grip for the under barrel. Other options like the Edge-47 or the FTAC Ripper are decent alternatives with similar recoil control. The Phase-3 Grip also offers hip fire accuracy though, and the negatives aren’t too extreme in Modern Warfare 2.

Finally, the XTEN Grip rear grip and the Raid 90 stock should be used for the speed that both of them provide. You can tune these to your liking when the weapon reaches max level, and it’s a good idea to boost handling. Together, these will ensure that the ISO Hemlock can still move well.
