The Summer Solstice has arrived, and that means it’s time to celebrate in Destiny 2 with the Solstice 2023 limited-time event. As always, a new event means fresh and exciting cosmetics to spend your hard-earned Silver on, and the Solstice event is packed full of drip encompassing all the summertime fun you’re definitely having. Since, as a Destiny 2 player, you definitely go outside on a regular basis, right? Here are the best cosmetics to buy in the Destiny 2 Solstice 2023 event.
Destiny 2 Solstice 2023 Best Cosmetics and Emotes to Buy
I’ll admit, I was pretty surprised to see the sheer amount of cosmetics available for the Solstice 2023 event. While some of them are, in my opinion, a bit lackluster, others perfectly embody the essence of the summertime activities we used to love doing outside but now opt to do virtually for a fraction of the effort. Check out some of my favorites below.
Emotes and Finishers
What better way to kick off the Solstice than hoppin’ around next to your best buddy? The Double Dutch emote allows you and a friend to show off your impeccable coordination and teamwork.
The Iron Severance finisher isn’t exactly Summer Solstice-themed, but man, do I love swinging large battleaxes. Yeah, I’ll admit it, my bias is showing on this one. Axes are rad.
Though I think multiplayer emotes are top-tier, I can’t deny the Water Gun emote and its comical, over-the-top presentation. It’s a perfect way to look silly and let your fellow Guardians know who rules the aquatic arena.
The Festive Nest Shell sports the traditional colors of the Summer Solstice – green, red, yellow, and gold. It’s a less silly, more classy approach to the event, and I think it looks pretty distinct.
On the other hand, the Shaded Shell is undoubtedly the coolest your Ghost could ever look. Equipped with the single-lense Wayfarer look, it’ll be the talk of the Tower wherever it floats.
Probably my favorite of all the Event’s cosmetics, the Sparrows are where they really had fun. The Bumper Boat cramps your Guardian into a puffy vehicle of violence. I’d pay money to see a group of Guardians bumpin’ around on these things.
The Crab Cycle is perfect to bring around your friends that shriek at the site of crustaceans as each leg and claw individually move on their own.
It wouldn’t be summertime without some yard work, and the Off My Lawn sparrow really cuts deep on that front. Equipped with spinning blades on the bottom, you’ll even be cutting grass as you boost around with this thing.
That’s all for the best cosmetics to buy in the Destiny 2 Solstice 2023 event. While you’re looking for things to spend Silver on, check out if the Destiny 2 Solstice Premium Event card is worth buying. For more tips and tricks, stick with Prima Games.
