Harper’s Hidden Cache Location in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)
To find the Harper’s Hidden Cache, travel southwest of Roadside Cliffs, past the ruined Nautiloid, until you find a small patch of land in the water. Jump down and travel along it until you find a large boulder, which you can move to reveal an Ornate Chest. Opening this and reading the Harper’s Map reveals a map marker northwest of Roadside Cliffs, indicating the Hidden Cache’s location.
How to Find Harper’s Map
To find the Harper’s map that reveals the Hidden Cache’s location, teleport to Roadside Cliffs and travel down until you reach the coordinates (X: 162, Y: 263). Jump down the ledge here to land on a stone path leading through the water.
Make a quick save, as you’ll have to roll a Nature Check to finish the next step.

At the end of this path is a peculiar-looking grey boulder. If you or one of your party members successfully pull off the Nature Check, you can use your strongest character to lift and drag this boulder away slightly to reveal a chest underneath. Loot this chest to find the Harper’s Notebook, Map, and rewards you can sell later.
How to Find Harper’s Hidden Cache
Once you get your hands on the Harper’s Notebook and Map, read both to reveal a waypoint marker northeast of Roadside Cliffs. Bring a character to coordinates (X: 182, Y: 414) and jump up the cliff. After a few jumps and a quick climb up some cragged rocks, you’ll find a ladder leading up to the Cache’s location.
After arriving at the location, you’ll find several places that house valuable items:
- A Rocky Crevice holding a pouch with coins and a Spider Egg Sac (requires a Perception Check)
- Multiple wooden barrels with potions and trap disarm kits
- A heavy chest with coins, a Fire Amber, and a potion inside
- A skeleton holding a pendant
